Located in an area of tall mountains and deep canyons, near the Garachay and Gochalanchay rivers 225 km from Baku. Gabala is notorious for the ruins of an ancient walled city, Chukur Gabala, dating back to the 4th century BC. Artists from all over the world come to Gabala, Azerbaijan to perform, give master classes and private lessons.

                   The Gabala International Music Festival will take place from July 24 - August 6, 2010.

       Everyone has to arrive on July 23th or July 24th and leave August 6th (buses will be provided from Baku Airport to Gabala on the 23th of July and from Gabala to Baku on the 7th of August).

       The cost of the festival is $2500 which will include room (3 persons per room) and 3 meals a day, 4 private lessons, a tourist tour, participation in student concerts, master classes and tickets to concerts of the festival.

       Observers and parents are welcome for a  fee, which will include everything except private lessons.

Application deadline is June 1, 2010.
